“It’s not where you’re trying to go that’s the problem. What you need to ask yourself is, ‘What are you willing to leave behind to get there?’
“If you’re going to soar, you have to break the law of gravity to soar. You have to go faster and harder to break that law of gravity.”
It made me really think about the things, projects, opportunities, etc. that I have on my plate that may have absolutely NOTHING to do with where I’m trying to go.
They’re all worthy of my attention, but are they worthy of my time right now?
It can be so hard to let go of things that you started when you were in a different place in your life.
You’re afraid of losing all that time and money you’ve invested.
But if you’re wondering why other things you’re working on aren’t moving the way you’d hoped, it may be time to reevaluate your priorities.
Ask yourself, “In order to reach your goals, what you are willing to leave behind to get there?”
Because it’s really hard to soar when you’re holding on to things/people/situations that have nothing to do with where you’re trying to go.
Do you agree?
“You have a daily choice: I will I will—I will I won’t”
