Morning Line: Saving Grace

Titus 2:11-14 (NKJV) ”For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.”

God’s grace gives you the power to be an over-comer! His grace will

empower you to renounce the lusts of life that separate you from Him.

He will never leave you nor forsake you. God cannot love you any more

than He does at this moment. He just loves you.

Grace gives you the power to have self-control; to walk uprightly with

Him and to live a Godly life, His Word in you will overcome the battle

in your mind, your will and your emotions. His Grace has given you the

power to live in the now and expect a great future. Grab hold of His

grace and the blessed hope of His appearing. He has redeemed you to

live a life of abundance and not defeat.

Lift up your heart and seize the victory. Christ Jesus gave Himself to redeem

His Own special people. By the grace of God you can be one of His own.

Simply invite Him in.

 “For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life. “Indeed, God did not send the Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. John 3:16-17

Morning Line: The Big Horse

After spending nearly 30+ years on many racetracks large and small. Working on breeding farms and training centers. I have looked back and found that I have lived my entire life in the shadow of ‘ The Big Horse”

In racetrack lingo, The Big horse is the ultimate of everything. If money is borrowed, it’ll be paid back when the Big Horse comes in. If things aren’t right, If things aren’t right, they will get better when The Big Horse comes in. If I don’t have a big horse in my stable, I’m always running at your Big Horse. Everyone is looking for The Big Horse to satisfy all their needs. I’ve had some friends who Big horses in their stables. All their hopes and dreams were centered around when the Big Hoses came in. It appeared that time after time. The Big Horse came in but somehow, he just wasn’t big enough to go around.

Since I have been off the track, out in the world I’ve noticed that folks out here are also looking for The Big Horse. Although they don’t call it The Big Horse, they are waiting for him to come in just the same. Individuals, communities, churches, and even whole countries are waiting on The Big Horse to come in.

As individuals, we are waiting for that one thing to happen that will get us over the hump. As communities, we are waiting for that something to happen that will unite us. As churches we are waiting for the next revival, for evangelist to pull the magic out of his hat that will be the answer to all our troubles. As a country, we are waiting on The Big Horse to come in the shape of a political candidate, or the big tax reform. Friends, we are all just waiting for The Big Horse to come in!

Dear reader, The Big Horse is in! His name is JESUS CHRIST! Every need as individuals, communities, churches or countries is met through him. Jesus Christ is the answer for all the world today! His past performance charts are written down in the Bible. (God’s condition Book for us.) His present charts, even His future charts. Every record of this Big Horse is down for us to read and study, if we just will.

Don’t get trapped by the devil waiting your life away on the Big Horse of the world to come in, cause he ain’t and the finish isn’t even close. The race has been won, and Jesus is waiting for you in the Winners Circle. Won’t you join Him there and accept what He has already done for you?? Today is the day of salvation.

If you would like to hook up with the Big Horse Jesus, just get quiet for minute, ease over somewhere by yourself, and bow your head and pray the simple prayer. Heavenly Father, I am a sinner, an “also ran” I’d like to be a winner, I accept Jesus now as my personal Savior and make Him Lord of my life. Father forgive me of my past performances, my bad race charts. I thank you for removing them from your remembrances as far as the East is from the West. Thank you for giving me a stall in heaven, and letting me start over with a clean training chart. Thank you for making me more than a winner. Amen

Morning Line: Touched by Faith

“…And You say, Who touched Me?” Luke 8:45( NKJV)

One day a chronically ill woman who had hemorrhaged for 12 years pushed her way through the crowd and touched the hem of Jesus’ garment. And immediately she was healed. ‘…Jesus said, “Who touched Me?” When all denied it, Peter and those with him said, “Master, the multitudes throng and press You, and You say, ‘Who touched Me?’” But Jesus said, “Somebody touched Me, for I perceived power going out from Me.” Now when the woman saw that she was not hidden, she came trembling; and falling down before Him, she declared to Him in the presence of all…how she was healed immediately. And He said to her, “Daughter, be of good cheer; your faith has made you well. Go in peace”’ (vv. 45-48 NKJV).

Understand this: There is a difference between the indiscriminate touch of the crowd, and a touch of faith.

Faith draws on God’s power and brings results! Notice, this woman touched the ‘hem’ of Jesus’ garment. The last thing a dressmaker does when she makes a garment is to sew up the hem. So the hem represents ‘the finished work’. The same back that bore the cross which takes away your sins, also bore the stripes which take away your sickness.

‘…And by His stripes we are healed’ (Isaiah 53:5 NKJV).

What do you need today? Forgiveness of Sins? Healing? Direction? No matter what your need. Reach out in faith and touch Jesus Christ, and you too can be made whole.

Morning Line: Be You!

Dare to be what God made you to be. God will use you where he found you. Stop trying to be a round peg in a square hole. You are wonderfully made for a purpose.

”…present your bodies a living sacrifice, … being not conformed to this world: but being transformed by the renewing of your mind” Romans 12:1-2

Know the will of God by knowing God’s “Word” asking His Spirit to illuminate it in your spirit teaching you and showing you the path for you to take.

 “ The Lord will send rain at the proper time from his rich treasury in the heavens and will bless all the work you do…If you listen to these commands of the Lord your God that I am giving you today, and if you carefully obey them, the Lord will make you the head and not the tail, and you will always be on top and never at the bottom.  You must not turn away from any of the commands I am giving you today, nor follow after other gods and worship them.” Deuteronomy 28:12-14 (NLT)

Father God is saying to you trust me my Holy Spirit will mentor you and place you with good mentors to become what I created you to be.

Morning Line: Fear Not!

Put the twins Worry & Fear to bed,

Most of what we worry  and fear about doesn’t happen and what dose we couldn’t change. However as we become better at accepting the things we cannot change and knowing with God’s help changing the things we can. We worry less about  today and tomorrow at peace trusting in the Lord for our answers.

“Casting all your care upon him; for he cares for you”  Peter 5:7

“…for your Father knows what you need before you ask him” Matthew 6:8

God grant me the serenity;

 The ability to accept the things I cannot change; Courage to change the things I can; And wisdom to know the difference.

 Living one day at a time; Enjoying one moment at a time one day at a time. Accepting hardships sometimes are the pathway to peace;

Knowing I am never alone the Our Father God, Jesus Chris, and the Holy Spirit are always with me.

 Trusting that they are working on my behalf in all things to overcome and have victory and peace in this life And at peace with Him Forever in the next life in Heaven.

Let the joy of the Lord be your strength and worry and fear are put under your feet becoming stepping stones. You are designed to be more than a conqueror as Christ Jesus is in you working with and walking with you.

Morning Line: Teachable!

To be successful we must stay open to new ideas. It’s ok to grow old as long as you don’t think old. Staying open to new ideas and challenges makes your future brighter and more fun.

Realize your uniqueness, you’re one of a kind. “ONLY ONE YOU”. When God made you he broke the mold. He enjoys variety and has a sense of humor just take a look around you. God loves you and has your picture with Him, daily seek relationship with Him and you will find His perfect place for you.

Psalm 139:13, 14”you have possessed my reins: you have covered me in my mother’s womb I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made”

Upright Living

“The one who wants to enjoy life and see good days [good—whether apparent or not],
Must keep his tongue free from evil and his lips from speaking guile (treachery, deceit).

 Now who is there to hurt you if you become enthusiastic for what is good? In John 21:6 Jesus Christ asked them to cast their net one more time and they caught more than enough.

The difference was Christ Jesus was involved. He didn’t say do anything different He just wanted to be part of it.
