APATHY: Without Pathos (compassion), emotion, indifference, lack of interest.

Proverbs 14:12 (KJV) There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

Proverbs 14:12 (TMWB) There’s a way of life that looks harmless enough; look again—it leads straight to hell.

HARDENING OF THE ATTITUDES: Many people seem to suffer from what Ashley Montagu the great Rutgers anthropologist, called psycho-sclerosis. Psycho-sclerosis is like arteriosclerosis, which is hardening of the arteries. Psycho-sclerosis is hardening of the attitudes.

Many times, we seek pleasure to cover what we think is loneliness. However, many times loneliness isn’t the absence of affection as much as it the absence of direction.

 2 Timothy 3:1-4 (1) This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.(2) For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, (3) Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, (4) Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

We live in a world today where it has tried many roads to find a way out.

¨      Philosophy says, THINK your way out

¨      Indulgence says, PARTY your way out

¨      Science says, INVENT your way out

¨      Industry says, WORK your way out

¨      Unions say, STRIKE your way out

¨      Fascism says, BLUFF your way out

¨      Militarism says, FIGHT your way out

¨      Hollywood says, ENTERTAIN your way out

¨      But CHRIST says: I AM THE WAY OUT

William James said, “That which holds our attention determines our action.”

When people lack ownership of truth, they usually resist it even when it is in their best interest! lcp

CHRISTIANITY isn’t casual.

CHRISTIANITY is ‘The Cross, The Christ from ‘The Center to The Circumference’ of life.

Remember:

It is easier to… complain than to Conquer.

It is easier to … whine than to Win.

It is easier to … quit than to Master.

It is easier to … surrender than to Succeed.

It is easier to … abandon than to Prevail.

My prayer is that we all ‘STAND STRONG IN THE FAITH OF CHRIST OUR LORD AND SAVIOR.

 Be Blessed.Yours In Christ Service.
