Morning Line: Oil for Ashes!

God has promised to give you “beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness” Isaiah  61:3

 The spirit of heaviness will lift when you begin to praise  God. It will fall off you like a garment. The weight will be gone. Your sadness will turn to gladness.

 When you begin to worship God you will feel His presence intensify, you’ll have peace, He will strengthen you and causes you to rise above your discouragement as you praise your way through the storm to victory!  When you keep your head up and your eyes on Jesus, your heart begins to rejoice even in the toughest test. It takes effort, but it’s worth it. Remember, you don’t always win every fight in the first round. But if you hang in there and keep answering the bell with praise, you will be victorious. Why? Because the fight was fixed by Jesus a long time ago.

I encourage you to make a gratitude list and add to it often. The more you show gratitude for what have you toward Father God and not whine about what you don’t have, the more God can bless you, because He knows He can trust you to share it.
